So You Want To Adopt Your New Best Friend

Our Farm Sanctuary will consider adoptive families in the Tipp City and surrounding areas only. This is simply due to logistics and distance of travel for our volunteers. Our goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the animal's background and your family's needs. Every animal is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a furever-home match. We are very careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right animal with the right adoptive home because we want this to be the pet's permanent home.

If you are willing to wait for the right animal to be matched to you,
you are an ideal candidate for Our Farm Sanctuary. As our success rate proves, these precious animals are well worth the wait.

We appreciate you wanting to bring a animal into your home. In order for us to find the right pet for you, we need you to submit an adoption application.

We will review your application upon receipt. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity.

Vet Reference

If you currently own pets, we will reach out to your vet for a reference. Please let your vet know that we will be contacting them. If you give them prior approval to speak to us, it can decrease the time needed to complete this step.

Finding Your Pet

Once approved to adopt, the search for your animal begins. Volunteers will begin to evaluate pets currently in our foster care program who may be a good fit for you and your family. We would also be open to discussing animals in our care that you are specifically interested in.

Additional Information

We will not discuss adoption details regarding any particular animal if you have not yet applied to adopt.

  • Our Farm Sanctuary is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization. We will make every effort to schedule your home visit in a timely manner. Please be patient with us…the animals need our time too.
  • All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all shots prior to adoption
  • Adoption fees vary based on the age and health of each individual animal.
