I'm ready for my new family!

This little mama is Akito! She came to us with her sister and a litter of 10 kittens. Akito worked tirelessly to keep these kittens healthy, but she herself was practically a skeleton.

Akito was super shy when she first came to Our Farm Sanctuary. Her sister was very outgoing, but she herself spent most of her time cowering behind cat trees. But slowly, and given wet food and time, Akito came out of her shell! She began to bulk up and feel better overall. Now, Akito is on our cat floor and thriving! She loves to spend most of her time napping in front of the window, but she’ll get up if you approach her for love and cuddles. She may even sit on your lap. Akito has become a total sweetheart and would do amazing in a home environment.

Akito would need to be introduced to dogs slowly. She may be hesitant at first, but she has already shown that she is resilient and adaptable. She would do wonderfully with any amount of other cats in a home. She is amazing with kids of all ages as well.
