Meet Irezumi, This adorable littler girl found herself pregnant this past winter at a very young age. To young. Her body could not handle the pregnancy. Irezumi came to us in September 2023 with 4 kittens just a few days old. Irezumi had Pyrometria, an infected uterus that can be fatal without treatment. In addition , Irezumi milk did not come in. Despite the efforts of a bottle feeder, Irezumi’s kittens could not overcome their rough beginning and did not survive. Our complete focus turned to saving the little Mama. Irezumi was scheduled for an immediate visit to the vet and an emergency hysterectomy. Irezumi responded well to surgery and recovered well. Irezumi was under a year old and living outside when she got pregnant. She never had the luxury of experiencing the joy of kitten hood, until now. Irezumi loves people and other cats. She loves to perch by the door to thee adoption floor and greet visitors. She loves to cuddlee in your arms for love and snuggles. Irezumi is very playful. She enjoys treats, toys, and parkour. She definitely puts the zoomies in Irezumi. Irezumi is a beautiful petite black and white girl. She is likely full grown despite her small size although we are hoping that she will still fill out a bit more with a steady consistent diet.
