I've found my furever family!

This tasty little treat is Waffle Cone.

Waffle Cone came to the Sanctuary from a neighborhood colony over a year ago. Waffle had already been a mother before, and we wanted to save her the hardship of any more pregnancies.

Waffle Cone was scared at first. She wasn’t sure what to make of indoor life at first. She was very comfortable with other cats. She enjoyed having a full belly and the benefits of being spayed and vaccinated. Humans were a questionable in her mind.

But what a difference a year makes. Waffle Cone has become very comfortable on our adoption floor. She’s often laying on our visitor’s bench snuggled up to people. If she’s not there, she’s usually snuggled up with a few others atop an acclimation apartment. She happily accepts love and affection from people. She’s decided that they’re not so scary after all.

Waffle Cone is around 2 years old. She is a light tabby and white kitty with a short haired coat. Waffle has big wide eyes and the sweetest hint of a smile.
