I'm ready for my new family!

Meet Courtney. 

She has been at the Sanctuary since 2020.  For many years, Courtney did not like people.  She would run away hissing, scared of any interactions.  

This past year Courtney received her annual wellness exam and vaccines.  Despite the fact that she has been vaccinated annually for the past 6 years, Courtney has a bad vaccine reaction.  A very bad reaction. Luckily our veterinarian was still on property and able to counteract the reaction and stabilize her.  what happened next was amazing.  That incident seemed to have completely rebooted Courtney's personality.  She has show extreme gratitude since her reaction finally offering up cuddles, snuggles and purrs.  PURRS!!!!  We didn't know this cat was capable of purring for 6 years!

Courtney recently had a dental.  She had most of her teeth removed.  4 still remain.  She has a clean bill of health and would love to try giving a home a chance.  She will require extra measures when receiving her annual vaccines.  We recommend discussing her personal care plan directly with your veterinarian to decide the best care for her going forward.
