Pepper Linnear was dumped on the Piqua trail when she was just a small kitten. It’s a common dumping ground for people to discard their animals unfortunately. Lucky for most of those cats they have dedicated feeders that care for the cats and have as many spayed and neutered as they possibly can But keep coming every year In the beginning of 2024 during a cold spell sanctuary agreed to take several cats from the trail to spare them from the elements Pepper was a high priority on our list because she was just a baby. And if we can prevent babies from growing up outside and finding safety, we will do that. She’s terrified of people and will need somebody to go very slow to win her trust
