Ziva was found outside, looking very thin and losing fur badly in the Spring of 2022.
Although she was microchipped, we were unable to get ahold of her previous owners.
The Sanctuary got her up-to-date on her vaccines and back to a healthy weight as she was very malnutrition.
All along, Ziva acted sweet and grateful to be safe and indoors.
Ziva loves people but does not love being around a large number of cats. She typically keeps to herself in a quiet corner. Ziva will occasionally let you hold her but she prefers to sit on your lap or the cushion next to you.
Ziva does require some additional grooming to maintain her luscious locks. She does groom herself, but needs additional brushing or occasionally shaved down.
Ziva does not like being restrained in any way. She will fight you if you need to medicate her or when it is time for a vet visit. We recommend asking your veterinarian for sedatives prior to your appointment for everyone's comfort.
