Ziva was found outside, looking very thin and losing fur badly. Although she was microchipped, we were unable to get ahold of her previous owners. The sanctuary got her up-to-date on her vaccines and back to a healthy weight. All along, Ziva acted sweet and grateful to be safe and indoors.
Ziva loves people but does not love being around a large number of cats. This means she has not acclimated well to our open adoption floor. She would do best in a home with plenty of her own space. She doesn't mind being held or near people as long as she doesn't have to compete for attention with other pets.
Due to her period of malnutrition outside, she does best when given daily wet food in addition to dry food. Her favorite is soupy, chunky food.
